before picking up the children trapped under rubble
why are we arguing with each other
about whose fault this is?
how to win the world with fear and violence?
Colonialism and white supremacy who learned
how to discover the lies that would work
in their favour?
Patriarchy who learned to burn the
women who were bold and smart?
Capitalism who taught us that
everything is a commodity?
Humanity who learned how to hide
behind labels and religions
to maintain status?
